The Mystery of Enchanted Hollow 1 Black Cat

This 9 month Block of the Month series will start off with the pattern for your first stitchery, directions for English Paper Piecing the stitchery "frames", and instructions for a pieced mystery block or 2. The quilt assembly pattern will be included with the final stitched block, when the mystery will be solved! The quilt measures 64 1/2" x 76 1/2".
This pattern includes instructions for hand embroidery, English Paper Piecing all of the stitchery "frames", and piecing a couple of VERY mysterious quilt blocks!

1 yd black print #1 for pinwheel blocks, binding, EPP stitchery frames and piecing
1/4 yd black print #2 for piecing and EPP stitchery frames
1/2 yd black dot print #3 for piecing and EPP stitchery frames
1/3 yd black print #4 for piecing and EPP stitchery frames
1/3 yd black print #5 for piecing and EPP stitchery frames

Embroidery hoop (I like a 5” thin-sided, spring tension hoop)
#7 embroidery needle (a #3 milliner’s needle will also be needed in a future pattern)
Hand sewing needle (I like a #9 milliner’s needle)
Hand sewing thread for EPP
