Wildflower Sampler

My very first quilt was a sampler style quilt. It’s what hooked me on quilting and I have loved it ever since. Now, almost 25 years later, I still love sampler quilts.

For this book, I wanted to combine that love with flower blocks and the Wildflower Sampler is the result.

The blocks are easy to assemble with just folded corners and straight seams, with no templates or difficult angles. If you make one set of blocks, the result is the small sampler, or you can make four sets of blocks for the large sampler.

After making the sampler quilts, I could envision using those blocks again in their own quilts and runners. The result is 5 bonus projects.
