Introduction to Free Motion Quilting

A class designed to intoduce students to free motion qulting on a domestic machine.  By concentrating on small spaces you will get a feel for your machine and how to creatively fill space on a quilt.  We will also discuss thread and needle choices and quilt marking techniques.

If Hamel's Fabrics & Bouledogue Quilt Co. deems fit to cancel the class due to low registration you will be notified and the class fee will be refunded in full.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Basic sewing skills required Good knowledge of your machine with some attempts to quilt on it
Requirements: 4-6 20"x20" (or fat quarter) quilt sandwiches in muslin or plain cotton, basted before class ** Quilt sandwiches available for purchase before class** Sewing Machine in good working order & your sewing toolbox Darning/Free motion foot Quilting gloves eg. "Machingers" Large ruler and marking pens to outline shapes for quilting Thread and bobbins to sew with Recommended Book: Shape by Shape by Angela Walters
