Join Marla Pinchin, co-author of "The Beginner Sampler". Have you always wanted to make a quilt but didn't know where to start? Learn some basic (machine) piecing techniques that will enable you to identify and make dozens of different quilt squares. Rotary cutting and quick strip piecing techniques for at least 12 different 12” squares will be taught, as well as how to assemble the quilt top, how to layer it, quilt it and bind it. Can you sew a ¼ “ seam? (Even if you can't you'll learn that too!). The first class will cover supplies & equipment needed, amount of fabric to buy, colour selection and fabric preparation.
Please Note: Do not pre-purchase fabric. This will be covered in the first class which will be held at Hamels Fabrics.
